As we kick off the month of June which is Black Music Month, I thought we'd do something different. First if you happen to be in the Bay Area, go out and buy a ticket to see one of Hip Hop's key architects and Founding Fathers-Afrika Bambaataa. He will be appearing at the Justice League in San Francisco this Friday Night- June 4th. Secondly, let's pay tribute to those who put it down and made Hip Hop the multi-billion dollar a year industry that it is. From Grandmaster Flash to the Crash Crew, these guys never ever get props. For the next couple of weeks, we will be tallying votes and taking recommendations for a Hip Hop Hall Of Fame. This will be a new feature on the website which pays Tribute to the founding fathers and mothers who have put it down for us. So think about it..and hit me back with 5 names of those who should be given honor and much praise for making Hip Hop what it is today. Is it Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, Eddie Cheeba or how about Rick Rubin, Russell Simmons or 2Pac? It's up to you to decide.. Just let a brotha know.. Who Should Be In The Hip Hop Hall Of Fame?
